Greeklish is the Greek language written using the Latin alphabet. Users often type Latin characters instead of Greek into search engines. This leads to difficulties in finding the right products in online stores.
We implemented algorithms, that allow you to search for products with Greek names by entering Latin names. For example, if a product name is “Γυαλιά Ηλίου”, you can find it also by typing “gyalia iliou”. See this example in the following pictures:
How to disable Greeklish?
This feature is enabled by default. You can disable it using the following filter:
